Twin Cities bar AIDS; drink up to fight HIV

Sounds like fun! From the Examiner:

Mix: One part night-on-the-town, two great cities and a dash of HIV awareness. Add a twist of fundraiser and you have the Minnesota AIDS Project’s (MAP) newest undertaking, Twin Cities Bar AIDS.

On Thursday, August 27, 2009, Twin Cities bars will generously donate a portion of their sales to benefit MAP. Don’t limit bars to the ones with the liquor- think coffee bars, juice bars- the fun can’t be contained! They will also be selling raffle tickets for amazing prizes, so don’t miss out on your chance to win!

The success of the event depends on you! You buy the drinks, have a good time, and meet other people who would also like to stop HIV in Minnesota- one martini, cocktail or café latte at a time.

You may already be planning to head out  this night anyway, check out the list of participants and stop by one to make your drinking money really count!  Is there an easier way to make a difference in the lives of others?  Especially when it is a cause that has such a great impact to our community.
